AR6300 Winter Diesel Treatment is added to every tank of diesel to boost performance, improve fuel lubricity, protect your fuel system and protect against gelling in cold weather.
When temperatures reach freezing point (32°F), the wax in diesel fuel begins to crystallize and collect on the fuel filter. This is known as gelling and prevents fuel from getting to where it needs to be, leading to:
• Trouble starting the engine
• Poor acceleration
• Sluggish and noisy performance
The anti-gel properties of AR6300 can prevent diesel fuel gelling down to -44ºF (using the Power Boost treat rate). Preventing gelling ensures your fuel system keeps working correctly through the colder months.
AR6300 improves the lubricity of diesel fuel which is particularly important in cold weather as winter fuel contains less lubricity and diesel engines are put through more wear and tear when temperatures drop.
A lack of lubricity in fuel can lead to:
• Excessive wear
• Premature failure
• Costly repairs
The Engine Manufacturer's Association (EMA) recommends using fuel that produces a wear scar no larger than 460 microns to meet the needs of a vehicle. The diesel fuel specification in the United States (D-975) is only 520 microns, meaning additional lubricity must be added to meet the EMA recommendation - highlighting the importance of diesel fuel additives.
In wear scar testing (ASTM D6079), base diesel fuel produced an out-of-spec scar width of 614.5 microns. The same fuel treated with AR6500 produced a scar width of 347.5 microns - a 43% increase in lubricity. Improving lubricity extends component life and prevents premature failure.

AR6300 boosts cetane to produce a complete and cleaner fuel burn, improving fuel efficiency.
The detergents in AR6300 keep key fuel system components free from power-robbing deposits to maximize engine performance. As a result, injector spray patterns are corrected (pictured), turbo lag is prevented and DPF regen frequency is reduced.
Restoring the fuel system leads to an increase in power and fuel economy (MPG).
TREAT RATE:
41.3 oz bottle treats 275 gallons of fuel.
Standard: 1.5 oz of AR6300 per 10 gallons of diesel (reduces CFPP to -16ºF)
Power Boost: 3 oz per 10 gallons (reduces CFPP to -44ºF)
When no anti-gel protection is needed, use AR6500 Diesel Treatment.
